The company is also involved in the treatment of sewage and sludge, which relies on a range of different technologies, including physical treatment of sludge, chemical or biological treatments, membrane bioreactors, sand filters and so on – these processes are focused firstly on reducing sludge volumes produced and secondly, processing it for reuse, mainly in agriculture.
