DDI 222
The DDI brand enjoys a reputation worldwide for pumps with unparalleled levels of intelligence, for easy operation.
The DDI 209 series (0.004 to 20 l/h) has proved itself on the market as champions in dosing technology. The integrated high-performance microelectronics and the innovative speed-regulated drive technology produce a precision and harmony unrivalled on the market. The dosing rate is simply entered in litres per hour – and the pump takes care of the rest.
DDI 222 is now extending these features to higher rates of up to 150 l/h, and many special features have been developed for equally special dosing tasks.
Two-step Slow Mode
DDI 222 offers reliable and digital dosing of high-viscosity media up to 2600 mPa s
With this sophisticated function, which decelerates the suction stroke systematically, and with specially developed valve combinations, ALLDOS offers a solution, that ensures high process quality even for the most viscous media:
- Slow Mode 1
(approx. 60 % of the maximum dosing rate) allows media up to 1000 mPa s to be dosed - Slow Mode 2
(approx. 40 % of the maximum dosing rate) manages even extremely viscous media up to 2600 mPa s
This represents huge cost savings for the user as he can now add expensive chemicals directly, without connecting dilution or treatment systems
Optional diaphragm monitoring with innovative double diaphragm technology for optimal process reliability.
There are applications where the dosing diaphragm is monitored and the process must not be interrupted in the event of a diaphragm rupture. For these applications there is one optionally integrated double diaphragm system with a differential pressure sensor for DDI 222. If there is a working diaphragm defect, the pump continues to dose with the equally robust protective diaphragm. The system immediately sends a diaphragm rupture signal and initiates remedial measures.
ALLDOS remains at the cutting edge in dosing technology, setting trends for the future once again with innovative ideas and customer-oriented concepts.
DDI 222 No other pump doses so cost-effectively
DDI 222 keeps energy costs at a record low, thanks to the advanced EC motor technology. Maximum efficiency is also ensured. A further advantage of this drive technology is that even at dosing rates of 150 l/h, it offers smooth and virtually continuous dosing. This produces remarkably smooth pumping and mixing of media, resulting in exceptional process reliability.
DDI 222 unbelievably flexible despite just a few varieties
The design is quite unique – a motor, gearing and two dosing head sizes are all it takes for a complete pump series. This radical reduction in variations has cut the number of spare parts required to a minimum – a not inconsiderable economic benefit for the user.
The optional Flow Monitor checks the system for excess pressure and dosing malfunctions (available in 2006)
The FM, newly developed for digital DDI pumps, is absolutely reliable in detecting dosing malfunctions on both the suction and pressure sides and issues an immediate error message. But it can do even more – the FM also offers smart error diagnosis and digital monitoring of excess pressure. Just digitally input the maximum backpressure allowed and if this pressure is exceeded, the pump shuts down.
DDI 222 the ultimate in user friendliness and ergonomics
The latest ALLDOS pump can also be perfectly adapted to local conditions. DDI 222 is smaller and quieter than conventional dosing pumps in this capacity class. The control and display elements are located either on the side or on the back of the pump.
