DMI with P3-System

DMI with P3-System for the dosing of very small quantities

New pump solves old problem

ALLDOS has launched the DMI P3 system dosing pump for gassing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite. This pump is capable of dosing amounts from 0.3 l/h up to 5.2 l/h. In connection with the Etron electronics with stroke frequency control, it is possible to reduce the dosing flow down to approx. 0.05 l/h whilst retaining accuracy.

Special highlight:

The drawing-in of small dosing quantities, well-known as critical among specialists, is no longer a problem.

Traditional dosing pumps on a suction lift application with hypochlorite tend to airlock and hence have an adverse effect on the process. The new P3 system overcomes this problem by having a priming chamber built into the dosing head design as an integral working part. This larger output dosing head continuously draws liquid at a constant rate into the priming chamber while the smaller front dosing head can be fed from an integral calibration unit always under flooded suction conditions. The liquid is then transferred accurately dosed into the process line. Any overspill as a result of the lower dosing output from the front head is returned to the chemical carboy .

With it’s high precision, the easy drawing-in and the economical use of dosing media, the P3 system is the solution for difficult liquids. The twin-chamber dosing head was especially developed for highly concentrated, gas-evolving liquids which have to be dosed in very small quantities and with accuracy

The Plus3 system yet has an additional economical effect: Because there will always be chemical in the priming chamber, it is possible to change the chemical carboy without stopping the dosing pump

Three features avoid unnecessary process interruptions

  • Accurate dosing of very small capacities with a new double diaphragm system.
  • Reliable dosing of gassing chemicals with automatic deaeration via a priming chamber.
  • Precise dosing of concentrated liquids due to accurate calibration whilst in operation

Plus additionally:
Exchanging the containers whilst the pump is running due to constant admission pressure the priming chamber.
