Boltac Jar Tester
The original Boltac Jar Tester was designed and manufactured in 1990 by Bruce Roberts who has over 30 years experience in the water treatment field as an engineer and manager. The device was born out of his need to simulate plant treatment conditions in order for water and sewage plant operators to accurately determine the correct chemical dose rates, assess mix times, and observe flocculent formation and settling rates.
With more and more stringent parameters being placed on the providers of drinkable and industrial water supply, and the ever increasing need to be more cost efficient, maintaining the highest quality standards is paramount. With the Boltac Jar Tester there’s no guesswork in determining accurate dosing rates. So, for the user, there are no costly errors, only the promise of the highest quality results – every time.
The Boltac Jar Tester is a user friendly, technically advanced machine, equipped with every function an operator could want.
Nothing has been spared in the design and manufacture of these units, the superbly crafted stainless steel cabinet has been manufactured to accommodate extremely accurate speed controls and lighting, in order to accurately simulate on site conditions, time after time.
Plant operators benefit too, from increased chemical efficiency, reduced filter loading and enhanced quality assurance which ultimately reduces plant running costs.
The Boltac Jar Tester is available in portable, self-contained, 6 or 4 paddle units – save 30 programmes of up to 99 steps . Smart, mouse-controlled electronics allow “G“ value, temperature and time to be programmed to simulate conditions exactly during all phases of the coagulation process – the tester can be set to operate to a “G” value, or RPM, within the same programme if required.
Units can be supplied with effective dust covers and comfortable carry straps for ease of transport too on request.
